Job Description

Source Code Academia is seeking an experienced Head of Department (HOD) Qiraat to lead and manage our Qiraat Department. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in Qiraat, Tajweed, and Islamic education, along with strong leadership and academic management skills.

The HOD will be responsible for overseeing curriculum development, teacher management, student learning outcomes, quality assurance, and the overall growth of the Qiraat Department.

Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage the Qiraat Department and its teaching staff.
Train, mentor, and evaluate Qiraat teachers.
Design, review, and improve Qiraat curricula and course materials.
Ensure high standards of Tajweed and Qiraat instruction across all classes.
Conduct regular teacher observations and performance evaluations.
Develop lesson plans, assessments, and student progress tracking systems.
Monitor student performance and implement improvement strategies.
Ensure classes are conducted professionally and according to company standards.
Collaborate with the media team for course development, teacher recordings, and educational content.
Prepare departmental reports, KPIs, and monthly performance reviews.
Drive continuous improvement and innovation within the department.
Requirements

Male candidates only (as per the operational requirements of this role).
Bachelor's degree in Islamic Studies or a related field (Master's preferred).
Certified in Qiraat/Tajweed from a recognized institution.
Minimum 4 years of teaching experience in Qiraat or Tajweed.
Minimum 2 years of academic leadership or management experience.
Strong command of various Qiraat and Tajweed methodologies.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Willingness to work with flexible schedules based on departmental and organizational needs.
Experience managing online learning platforms is an advantage.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
