Job Overview:
The Academic Coordinator will assist in managing the academic and administrative functions of the Department. This role involves supervising teachers, aligning curriculum implementation, ensuring the quality of lesson delivery, conducting inductions, and coordinating with multiple departments to maintain academic standards and operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise teachers and ensure class schedule adherence.
- Conduct induction training for new teachers and students on the Website Portal and COD.
- Ensure all lessons align with the approved curriculum and vet assessments before release.
- Track teacher attendance, punctuality, and performance KPIs.
- Organize and conduct two departmental meetings per month.
- Coordinate with HR, Media, and IT departments for operational and academic needs.
- Prepare and submit monthly departmental reports.
- Maintain weekly record updates and ensure policy and code of conduct compliance.
- Resolve departmental issues and ensure smooth communication flow.
Qualifications & Skills:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s.
- 3–5 years of teaching or academic coordination experience.
- Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills.
- Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and ensure timely reporting.
