The culprit is dragged by the angels towards his final abode-The Blazing Fire. Every foot step heavy then the subsequent due to the weight of
chains the body has been wrapped into. The iron collar around the neck of offender,fixating the sinner's gaze towards the terrible
destination ahead. Sounds of screams could be heard from the distance apart and the offender knows, he will become the companions of
these screams just now.
(When iron collars will be rounded over their necks, and the chains, they shall be dragged along,
in the boiling water, then they will be burned in the Fire.) (40:71,72)
Upon reaching, the disbeliever meets the keeper of hell fire - Malaika. And here an intriguing conversation takes place at the doors
of Saqar between the attendent and the sinner. The keeper initiate the talk with this one stern question: “Did a warner not come to
you?” (ayah 8, Surah Mulk).
This question doesn't sounds unique at all, Infact it is the very first reponse we put forward today, when someone
commits a serious blunder. "Did no one guided you? what were you exactly thinking".Our response comes out no different then the
keeper of hell, same obvious interoggation- bewildered by what my freind has done.Everytime we witness someones idiotic mistake, our
brain urges to find how the other person ended up in such a mess and was the person really not been guided by anyone.
The following moment comes the reply “Yes, a warner did come to us, but we denied and said, ‘Allah has revealed nothing.
You are extremely astray.’” (ayah 9,Surah Mulk)
Here again, in this reply we find resemblance with the words of careless individual who is often warned with the severity of Doomsday.
If four friends are sitting in a cafe, chilling over the ongoing cricket series and if one of them brings in the word of Allah, the current
political situation of Ummah, he is called out for being 'delusional'. " Come on bro what kind of discussion is this." one of them speaks out.
The other one utters " Bro! you need to chill down. you are overreacting."
Warners are always called out for being irrational o extremist. What the people misses out is, the extremity of the day, the failures will be dragged
to the gates of Jahanum, roaring and bursting up in fury.
Today it might sound as a distant and unreal phenomenon but this conversation batween the angel and disbeliever has been recorded in Quran in the
most clear manner. It serves as a reminder to fix our lifes before the times runs out. We can't hush the warner, it is not the notifier who is
being unrealistic but the ignorants, the defiers of message of Allah.
May Allah make us among the rightious and save us from the humility of Day of Judgment .(ameen)
