Could the Pak–KSA pact be the spark that unites the Muslim world?
The Pakistan-KSA agreement is not just meant for national benefit and deepening defence cooperation.
It is an exciting event for the Muslim world; an opportunity for other muslim nations to also unite on behalf of protecting one another. The alliance serves as a hindrance to NATO and other forces that aim to endanger muslim communities. Consequently, the pact is interpreted as a direct threat to Israel, as the strengthened alliance could be challenging for Israel’s strategic dominance in the Middle East.
Thus, it leads to the reinforcement of security for Muslim states on a global scale and indicates progression toward cohesion within the Islamic community.
