The Glow That Blinds

“Ma’am please wait for your time. It may take around 30 minutes then we will call you. You can sit on the couch.” Isabella is 60 years old. She went to a skincare clinic because she thinks her skin should glow more, so she is going for a surgery that will improve that glow. She sat down on the couch. Her heart was thumping because this was the moment she had been saving money for the past five years. She thought this treatment was going to change her life. But that is not how the brain works. She is just a toy in the hands of bigger companies. Those companies who advertise their products and make people believe that they need them at any cost. They show dreams, they create desires, and they trap minds. Isabella could do a lot better with that money. She could work on her health, on education, donate it, or even put it towards her kids. But now she cannot see anything other than her glowing skin. That is how people sitting on fancy tables and chairs spread propaganda. It moves to the general masses, changes their emotions, and manipulates them to do whatever they want.
