Israel today behaves less like a state and more like a spoiled brat armed with nuclear weapons and diplomatic immunity. Since October 2023, Israeli strikes have killed over 40,000 people in Gaza (UN OCHA), flattened hospitals, and displaced more than 1.7 million civilians. The brat presses buttons, and the International world claps in silence.
In September 2025, Israel even carried out strikes near Doha in Qatar. It was a move condemned by regional governments and reported by Al Jazeera and Reuters yet the so-called “international community” responded with the usual script of concern but with no consequences.
The Abraham Accords were sold as “peace” but in reality, they muted Arab criticism. When the UAE and Bahrain warned that settlement expansion crossed a “red line,” Israel ignored them meanwhile Washington doubled down on military aid anyway. These accords did not restrain Israel in fact they gave it cover (Reuters / Al Jazeera 2025).
The International law is nothing but a stage prop.
In 2004, the International Court of Justice ruled Israel’s separation wall illegal but the wall still stands (ICJ Advisory Opinion 2004). In 2024, the International Criminal Court issued warrants for Netanyahu and Gallant but to date, they travel freely with red carpets waiting (ICC 2024).
So when do laws act? Ceasefires are never called when civilians are dying en masse. They appear only when the weak begin resisting effectively, or when Washington needs a media reset. Justice doesn’t move to protect the vulnerable but to preserve the balance of power like we’ve seen in above mentioned examples.
This WORLD is ‘their’ circus. Israel roars like a lion but acts with the tantrums of a child, pressing buttons while the U.S. and its allies who are the ringmasters, keep the crowd entertained. The ICJ and ICC dress the part but in truth, they are not judges. They are clowns in robes who bow, clap and cover their eyes while the spoiled child runs the ring.
It’s time that the world especially the Muslim World decide if they want to be played like ‘their’ puppets or if there will be no strings attached anymore. Will the Middle East decide that it has had enough dictation and gather the Muslims under one umbrella or will they wait for the Savior Mehdi to come and cut the cords? Will they sit idly by till then, letting the Chosen ones run the show?
