Sarah was 28 years old and had been married for four years. Her mother-in-law constantly asked her the same question—why she hadn’t had a baby yet—and insisted she visit a doctor with her. This daily pressure made Sarah anxious. To cope with her anxiety, she began excessively cleaning and organizing things to perfection, even when it wasn’t necessary.
Anxiety is a common emotion in daily life; a feeling of fear, dread, uneasiness, restlessness and tension. It can be positively beneficial when appropriately challenged and can use in the increasing focus, help you to prepare for challenges and for achieving goals.

Surely with hardship comes ease.
(Quran 94:5-6)
However if left untreated in extreme condition, it can harm mental health and spiral into a vicious cycle, thus leading to extreme conditions such as obsessive‑compulsive disorder (OCD), panic disorder, or post‑traumatic stress disorder (PTSD). Anxiety is due to some sort of external stimuli like stress and continuous threat.
First, perceive the emotions, acknowledge and accept your current situation and feelings. Do not try to run away, instead focus on finding solutions and then take action. Avoid imprisoning yourself in a maze of negative thoughts. Remind your mind that difficult emotions are a normal part of life. Find healthy coping strategies like enjoying a cup of coffee, doing light exercise, or a walk to help you manage and move forward.
