We all are striving towards seeking the pleasure of Allah and to fulfill our responsibility, i.e to solve the problems of the 8 billion people on this planet. We aspire to set the bigger objectives for ourselves that are going to solve these problems.
But let’s take a step back and ask ourselves, do we even know the problems of current times and the years coming ahead? If no, then logically how can we even solve something we are not even aware of.
Let’s accept the fact and start working towards identifying them, and the tool that would empower us and serve as a foundation is none other than map understanding.
You might ask, why is it so important to understand some drawings on the map?
Knowing how to read maps is not just about finding countries. Maps show us many layers—land, weather, politics, trade, and people.
The big problems of the next 100 years all have a place on a map. Things like lack of water, rising seas, new sea routes, and moving populations can only be understood if we know where they happen.
Maps help us see where needs and dangers meet. Energy routes, minerals, and shipping paths show where money and conflict might grow.
Climate maps tell us where droughts, floods, or heat will push people to move or change how they live.
Borders on a map show where countries might fight or work together for water, food, or technology.
For students, business owners, and leaders, reading maps makes it easier to spot changes before others do.
You can plan for supply problems, find good places for clean energy, or understand why a war far away raises food prices. Learning maps gives you a clear picture of tomorrow’s challenges—and the chances to solve them.
