After 10 May 2025, 17 September 2025 is another radiant day in the history of Pakistan. The unprecedented attack on a major non-NATO US ally, a country that hosts a major US base on its territory, led KSA and Pakistan towards a bold step of islamic brotherhood.
“Aggression on one is aggression on both”
No doubt this deal has been in the works for about two years but the timing of the announcement is really significant.
The KSA and Pakistan defence pact is welcomed by countries like Egypt and Iran. Pakistan and Turkey had a great deal in mid-January 2025 to partner in the production of the Turkish KAAN fighter jet, with plans for a joint factory to be established in Pakistan. Indonesia is also interested in these fighter jets. Egypt and Turkey confirmed co-production and participation in Turkey’s KAAN stealth fighter program in July 2025. Hence a wonderful pattern is there in reaction to Israel’s aggression, America’ unreliability and geopolitical instability in the Middle East.
