Pakistan-Saudi Pact By Awais
The “Strategic Mutual Defence Agreement” that was signed on September 17th by Pakistan and Saudi Arabia benefits both countries but we will be focusing on the Pakistan side. Pakistan now has Saudi Arabia committed to a mutual defense, meaning they will help and pakistan will help if they get attacked, which increases so much of the security of Pakistan making countries such as India think twice. Having closer ties with Saudi Arabia will most likely result in economic support when it is needed such as investments, oilsupply, loans, due to Pakistan having closer relations with Saudi Arabia but according to this pact Saudi will help with disaster relief and helping the country due to what's based in the treaty. This Pact will increase Pakistan’s prestige and role by showing that they are capable of allying with a country such as Saudi Arabia, and showing them as more of a threat and giving them more confidence globally.
