In a time marked by deep grief and disillusionment since October 2023, when the leadership of the Muslim world seemed silent and powerless in the face of ongoing oppression in Palestine, this agreement between Pakistan and Saudi Arabia stands as a powerful sign: Indeed, the help of Allah is near.
When Allah SwT wills something, He can bring about change through anyone—even through those far removed from the ideals of Islam. While most of the Muslim world’s leadership failed to take a stand, and some of the wealthiest nations resorted to humiliating actions to please their enemies—such as offering billions in arms deals and compromising their values has now turned the tide.
The recent aggression against Qatar by the United States shook the region’s sense of security. This shock seems to have led Saudi Arabia to look toward the one Muslim nation that has consistently maintained military strength and nuclear capability.While Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman had previously focused on modernizing and secularizing Saudi Arabia, it now appears that Allah SWT is using the same figure for a higher purpose. As history has shown, Pakistan’s strength has never come from its political leadership, but from the discipline, resilience, and excellence of its armed forces. Once again, Allah has granted Pakistan an opportunity to demonstrate that strength—this time, on a broader, strategic scale.The Pak-Saudi Defence Agreement is more than just a bilateral deal. It signals the potential birth of a new Muslim alliance—an awakening that could reshape global dynamics and uplift the collective spirit and psychology of the Muslim Ummah (In Shaa Allah).
