A thought, Originality and Writing.
Whenever I start writing an article, I get stuck and become unable to proceed. It feels like my brain doesn’t have enough data to present in an organized and structured way.
For example, I am all set to write an article on thought development, which we are studying these days. I start writing what thought is and how the human thought development system works. Just after writing a few lines, my brain is completely lost, unable to detect any other preexisting data related to this topic.
Then I directly go to Google, search the topic, collect some data, and put it into my article. But then these are not my thoughts anymore, they are someone else’s thoughts and opinions. So I am not writing my own thoughts but copying someone else’s. What my brain processes and produces can be different from this.
How can I go to that deep layer in my brain where I know that now it’s me, these words are mine, with no filter of external influence?
I get stuck thinking whether what I am saying is even mine, or if I am just forwarding someone else’s words.
Hence, I came to the conclusion that a common person in society, like me, having some level of education and analytical skills, can only convey others’ data and is unable to produce their own. Which means they have not discovered themselves yet.
To own what you are saying, you must reach that first layer by understanding how each layer of your thought is formed. Once you are able to do this, you will somehow be able to see your real self.
By the end of the article, I reached a conclusion that has nothing to do with what I started with.
These are my raw thoughts. Are they really raw and mine ?
