An immensely beneficial opportunity has risen from the ‘Strategic Mutual Defense Agreement.’
Pakistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia signed an agreement on the 17th of November, 2025. “The agreement states that any aggression against either country shall be considered an aggression against both,” the ministry said (1). This agreement deepens the alliance of both countries.
The pact helps Pakistan fulfill two lacking essentials for its skillful and credible military. Those lacking essentials were energy security and financial resilience, both of which the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia can provide to Pakistan. With achievement and access to these essentials, Pakistan can carry out prolonged wars (2).
Pakistan can gain global power in taking initiative to free Palestine because there is moral value in doing so. People around the globe are upset about the ongoing genocide in Gaza and the governments aren’t taking urgent action to stop the cruelty. If Pakistan were to send its military to the occupied state of Palestine with Saudi Arabia backing Pakistan by essential resources, then there will be global support from the people around the world. That global support can also turn into power for Pakistan.
