A lesson from microorganisms for Muslims
In today's world, under the lens of an electron microscope, humans are discovering a treasure trove of amazing creatures created by Allah (SWT), yet most of them are non-Muslims. If Muslims were doing this job, they would realize that these microorganisms can provide a profound lesson to solve the major issues of this ummah. Yeah, it sounds crazy, but the other day, when I was studying about the incredible nature of microbes, I was shocked, and I wanted to share this with others. It was Biofilm, a natural phenomenon of the tiniest creatures of Allah(SWT). If you search online about the purpose of Biofilm, the result would be like: “ protection from external aggression,” and in the current moment, the people attacked by external enemies are mostly Muslims. We are being beaten by all the evil powers of this world because we failed to make Biofilm like these microbes. So let’s talk about Biofilm. What is Biofilm? Why do they form it, and what lesson can we collect from this phenomenon?
Biofilm is a community of living microorganisms embedded in a slimy matrix that protects them against external aggression, like desiccation, antibiotics, as well as the host's immune system. Instead of living in isolation (a planktonic state), they choose to exist collectively. Sadly, as an ummah, we have not recognized the urgency of forming our own “biofilm-like unity”. We are not getting into large numbers for a real purpose, that’s why we are unable to protect our own brothers and sisters. Until we stop performing individually and make a strong community like the microorganisms, we can not solve the issue of Palestine.
